Service Description

This awareness course introduces workers to the hazards associated with hexavalent chromium exposure. Participants review common work activities that may create exposure, health effects, routes of entry, warning signs, controls, hygiene practices, and the importance of following established procedures. The class helps workers identify when exposure may be possible and how to reduce risk through safe work practices, reporting, and proper use of controls. This course is appropriate for industrial, maintenance, and construction personnel who may encounter chromium-related hazards.
