Service Description

This awareness course introduces workers to silica hazards and the controls used to reduce exposure. Participants review common silica-generating tasks, health effects, dust-producing conditions, control measures, housekeeping practices, respirator awareness, and worker responsibilities. The class supports better hazard recognition and helps personnel understand the importance of using controls and following site procedures when silica exposure is possible. This training is useful for construction, maintenance, industrial, and contractor personnel.
